TO THE SUMMIT!
For the energetic ones amongst you, now is the best time to walk to the top of Snowdon, England & Wales's highest mountain. It's only 40 minutes drive to get to the starting point and between 3 to 4 hours walk (less than an hour on the train!) to get to the top.........Let us pack you a lunch so you can make the most of the spectacular scenery on these beautiful clear days!.....If there's enough of you, we can even get you a guide to take you up.
GOLFING BREAKS AT BRITISH SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE
Our local golf course in Conwy is now in superb condition and well worth a visit. It was the venue for the R&A as a qualifier course for the British Open in 2006 and this June, it hosts the British Seniors Championships so there have been numerous improvements made to the layout to bring it up to scratch.........Take advantage of our midweek 3 for 2 offers and play 3 courses all within a 5 minute drive of the hotel.......Follow our link to the golf club.
HISTORICAL BREAKS
We have had a number of guests recently who have taken advantage of a guided tour around the many historical places of interest, by a local historian called Llewelyn Groom. He is very reasonably priced and you would pay him direct (cut out the middle man!) If you would like to spend a very informative couple of hours with Llew, we could arrange it for you, depending on his availabilty of course!
